I installed Firefox 1.0 yesterday and got rid of the old version I had. Too late! I realised that the new version of Firefox DOES NOT use all the old settings! I now have to RE-INSTALL all my old extensions and some of my bookmarks! Dammit! When attempting to import, Firefox imports an OLDER set of bookmarks.
User beware!
UPDATE: I managed to download a copy of Firefox 0.9. My extensions and bookmarks are back to normal!

Firefox crud
