The Computer Emergency Response Team is a part of the American Department of Homeland Defense with a mandate to combine the efforts of both public and private resources to upgrade American computer and server security. Part of its efforts entails creating awareness of security problems and viruses and spreading solutions. One of their more recent security alerts includes Mozilla browser vulnerabilities.
