Volvo has a new car called the YCC which includes in its women-centred design gull-wing doors (for modesty, of course), headrests for ponytails and a handbag holder area. Women also want a few other things:
Better driving positions for shorter drivers
More knee room beneath the steering column
A storage system to hold shopping bags
A lighter tailgate
Clearer identification symbols for dispensers holding coolant, oil and window washer fluid
And let's not forget:
Brakes and accelerator pedals closer together
Larger mirrors with lipstick holders
Concave mirror on the inside of the door ("look, I'm so thin now")
Sleazy boyfriend ejection seat
Cushions on the inside backdoors at seat level ("no more, ahem, bumping my head against the door")
