The fact that users of Ebay are targetted by phishers is not news. But they have become really active for the past two days. I have received no less than 8 such emails in the last 48 hours. Three of them were labeled "Urgent fraud prevention group notice", but they all arrived within seconds of each other. Another came from the email address investigation@ebay.com and gave an incredible amount of detail (and spelling errors) of someone who had paid but didn't receive a product from me.
The only thing to do is go to ebay.com and write to the live help-line. But they operate only four hours each day. I suspect this is not one of those help services that have been out-sourced to India.
