HOWTO Spot a Wannabe Web Standards Advocate

A list of common misconceptions of standards often seen being exposed by the clueless who pretend to be clued in.

UPDATE: After some thought, I would add to this list:

  1. anyone who still calls it "code" instead of "markup".
  2. anyone who says they write for Firefox and disregard IE.
  3. anyone who still adds the MS Smart Tag meta tag to their pages.
