Freecache came up with this idea when it noticed how some content, when it becomes popular (such as the ipod brothers' movie), gets taken down because of exceeding bandwidth.

FreeCache works by moving content "hot spots" on the web closer to users. This provides several advantages to various parties involved: Users get faster downloads, content providers pay less for Internet-bound traffic, and ISPs pay less for Internet-originating traffic.

All you have to do is append your file url to Freecache's url. For example: http://freecache.org/http://timyang.com/
