Thursday August 19The Swedish Ambassador's partyI was conspicuously the only Malaysian there at the Swedish Ambassador's home last night. Marie took a risk in inviting me to her welcome party, the guests comprising mostly of interns from the German Malaysian Chamber of Commerce. It was absolutely lovely. The German contingent, numbering almost twenty in all, with some Spanish interns, French interns and me. And of course the Bruno, the Swedish ambassador who spoke to me about the embassy's website. He looked like Santa Claus in an Oxford cotton shirting. I got the impression that I was already known at the embassy as "the theatre guy" because I took Marie out two nights ago to watch a (very very bad) play. I was quite embarrassed because I hadn't realised how bad the play would be. CommentsTrackback URL for this entryhttp://timyang.com/pingserver.php?p=tb&id=76 No trackbacks exist for this entry.
