Blueyonder.co.uk subscribers get their emails blocked by spam blacklist

Telewest, one of the UK's largest broadband companies has had all their subscribers' addresses blocked by SPEWS, a popular spam blacklist that's used with the Spamassassin email filter. Spews contends that many of Telewests' subscribers' computers have been taken over by spambots. So anyone using the blueyonder.co.uk service may not be getting all their emails out and they won't even know it. Poor bastards. Telewest is working to resolve this problem, but it won't be quick or easy. This isn't an unusual occurance in Asia. Whole networks in China and Korea are blocked by spam blacklists from time to time. But when it is a European or American network that's blocked, that makes news.
