Skype can turn your computer into a supernode to route voice traffic

This article starts out as a bit of a scaremonger, but it makes the point that if you want to be a full P2P peer, you cannot do it at the same time as having Skype on. Skype will detect how much bandwidth you have and take advantage of any excess to route voice traffic through your node. Generally my P2P activity is faster without Skype on.
